Applications are now open for the University of Tokyo ADB Scholarship 2026 in Japan. This fully funded scholarship is offered to all international students from ADB member countries who want to pursue a Master’s degree in Japan.
The Asian Development Bank – Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP) provides more than 300 scholarships every year to outstanding students. It covers all study expenses and allows scholars to study at Japan’s top-ranked university, the University of Tokyo.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the University of Tokyo ADB Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
Be a citizen of an ADB member country
Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with good academic performance
Have at least 2 years of full-time work experience after completing a Bachelor’s degree
Be under 35 years old (in some senior-level programs, up to 45 years old)
Be in good health
Agree to return to home country after completing the degree
